Chau Phu builds cultural life

In recent years, the movement of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life in Chau Phu district has been maintained and gradually deepened, movements and campaigns with cultural content have been implemented synchronously, bringing positive results. The criteria and standards of cultural families and cultural hamlets are evaluated on an objective basis, with specific data and results. From there, creating a vibrant emulation movement, contributing to improving quality. Through propaganda and mobilization work, people in the district have actively participated in the movement to build a cultural life, effectively contributing to the prevention and fight against crimes and social evils, maintaining security and order in the locality.

The Steering Committee for Family Work and the Movement of All People Uniting to Build a Cultural Life has directed the implementation of many tasks and solutions in family work, contributing to helping families in society solve difficulties in life, build prosperous, equal, progressive, happy families, practice a civilized lifestyle, strengthen protection and care for children, support the elderly, prevent social evils... Through the campaigns, many examples of "Good people, good deeds" have appeared, building happy families, raising educated children, "5 no, 3 clean" families, cultural families, studious families. The festival of typical happy families, commemorating Vietnamese Family Day, is held annually, creating conditions for typical families to exchange and share experiences in building happy families, without violence, without social evils, raising successful children, overcoming difficulties in life, sharing experiences and skills in building prosperous, progressive and civilized families.

Vice Chairman of Chau Phu District People's Committee Phan Van Van said: "To achieve the goal of improving the quality of the movement to build a cultural life, making culture increasingly permeate social life, creating a civilized and orderly rural appearance, ensuring a healthy cultural environment, promoting the implementation of the National Target Program on building new rural areas and civilized urban areas. Chau Phu District will mobilize people's participation in creative activities, building a cultural life, creating conditions for cultural activities to develop, and improving the cultural enjoyment of the people".

To effectively implement the set goals, the Party committees, local authorities, and steering committees of the cultural life building movement at all levels of the district will continue to promote the leadership, management, and mobilization roles of mass organizations in implementing the construction of a cultural life. At the same time, integrate the implementation of the cultural life building movement with campaigns and emulation movements, and successfully carry out local political tasks. Strengthen propaganda and mobilization of the people, promote the role of the people as the main subjects in participating in the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas; promote socialization, mobilize people to implement rural traffic works; build cultural life; create jobs, and sustainably reduce poverty. Activities and movements closely follow the principle of "people know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people benefit" and mobilize the strength of the entire people according to the principle of self-awareness and self-management.

Chau Phu district authorities continue to implement synchronous and effective solutions to build a cultural life, aiming to create positive and profound changes in all areas of social life through practical activities, such as: Arranging hygiene and order at local markets; instructing small traders to sell quality goods and list prices; propagating to people to practice civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals, festivals, focusing on behavioral culture, traffic culture... The locality continues to maintain and improve good and effective models and practices in building a cultural life; promptly commend and reward outstanding collectives and individuals. Improve the quality of people's lives, contributing to the successful implementation of the local socio-economic development, national defense and security plan.

To make the work of building cultural life more and more effective, Chau Phu district continues to strengthen the close relationship between the Party, the government, the Fatherland Front and the people, promoting the role and strength of the great national unity bloc to create strong changes in the cultural lifestyle of the people. The Steering Committee for the movement to build cultural life at all levels regularly propagates, mobilizes, combines consolidation, quality improvement, inspection and recognition of cultural titles, contributing to socio-economic development, preserving and promoting national cultural identity.
