"Giving wings" to bring Cao Bang OCOP products far and wide

Cao Bang province currently has 144 3-star and 4-star OCOP products. All products have stable consumption markets. However, there are still some products facing certain difficulties in expanding the consumption market and expanding the customer base.

In that context, the project team "Nôong Huế Cao Bằng: OCOP Product Bridge - Elevating Tourism - Affirming Identity" (Nôong Huế Cao Bằng channel) has coordinated, promoted and sold OCOP products through e-commerce channels and social networks; at the same time, built experiential activities, promoted local culture and tourism, and initially achieved good results.

Mr. Ninh Van Tuyen, Director of HATODO Limited Liability Company, in Bao Lac District, Cao Bang Province, shared and highly appreciated the effectiveness of product promotion of the project "Nông Huế Cao Bang: OCOP Product Bridge - Elevating Tourism - Affirming Identity", the company chose the project as a partner to promote and expand the product consumption market.

Channel "Nong Hue Cao Bang" promotes and introduces the product of He Shou Wu Bao Lac, Cao Bang province.

Up to now, through the Noong Hue Cao Bang channel, the company has coordinated to promote OCOP products, Bao Lac fragrant sticky rice, red Polygonum multiflorum extract, and purple indigo tea bags to customers near and far.

Thereby, bringing the company's products closer to customers. Many customers have known and trusted, choosing to buy the company's products. For example, with the product of Bao Lac fragrant sticky rice, through promoting and approaching customers, the consumption output has increased nearly 3 times, from about 20 tons of rice/year to nearly 60 tons of rice/year.

Most recently, a large company with branches nationwide signed a contract to buy Nep Huong Bao Lac rice in large quantities as Tet gifts for employees throughout the company, said Mr. Ninh Van Tuyen.

Sharing about the idea of ​​forming the project and the implementation content, Ms. Phan Thi Hue, channel "Noong Hue Cao Bang" said that in Cao Bang province, there are many OCOP products with guaranteed quality and beautiful designs, but the facilities producing OCOP products have certain limitations in promoting, marketing, and bringing the products "closer" to customers.

Therefore, the channel "Noong Hue Cao Bang" with 5 members focuses on content, organizing livestream sales sessions on social networks such as Facebook, Tiktok to interact with customers, introduce the production process, and package products in a lively and attractive way.

In addition, the channel “Noong Hue Cao Bang” also creates product promotion videos for partners to share on social media channels. Thereby, providing customers with useful information about OCOP products, cultural and tourist destinations in Cao Bang.

The channel "Noong Hue Cao Bang" also accepts tour registrations, organizes tours to experience indigenous culture, and introduces OCOP products of Cao Bang province to tourists and customers.

Up to now, the channel "Noong Hue Cao Bang" has connected and organized many foreign tourist groups to visit, travel and experience the local cultural identity.

Tourists from the UK bought Hoang Dieu Cao Bang conical hats as gifts.

Among them, Mr. Lucas, a tourist from the UK, registered for a tour through the "Nôong Huế Cao Bằng" canal and enjoyed buying OCOP products of the Hoang Dieu conical hat to bring back to the UK as gifts.

Up to now, the channel "Noong Hue Cao Bang" has been a promotional and consumption partner for 14 Cao Bang OCOP products such as Thach An fragrant pumpkin tea, Gynostemma pentaphyllum tea, Polygonum multiflorum extract, Hoang Dieu conical hat, Su Hao black jelly...

Ms. Phan Thi Hue shared that, up to now, the revenue of the channel "Noong Hue Cao Bang" is not high, the remuneration for each member is not much, but the whole group determined that the project and direction of the channel "Noong Hue Cao Bang" is in the right direction, determined to stick with it for the long term.

And the joy is that the whole group has contributed to promoting, introducing, and expanding the consumption of OCOP products of Cao Bang province domestically and internationally; initially, the channel "Noong Hue Cao Bang" has also attracted advertising on the channel, contributing to offset the costs of organizing activities.

The channel "Nong Hue Cao Bang" creates promotional content about Cao Bang brocade weaving products.

Through its activities, the "Nôong Huế Cao Bằng" channel has contributed to promoting, introducing and consuming OCOP products of Cao Bang province, contributing to promoting production development, product consumption, promoting economic development, and rapid and sustainable poverty reduction in localities in Cao Bang province.
