Mr. Dao Xuan Co shared that with the development of society, modern medicine is also facing many opportunities and challenges. From disease diagnosis, treatment process, to improving the quality of medical services and improving the patient experience are urgent demands for the industry.

In particular, digital transformation, technology, and artificial intelligence have been promoting their advantages in supporting hospital management, implementing the work of medical staff as well as the examination and treatment process of patients.

"It is undeniable that artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced technologies are gradually becoming indispensable tools in medical examination and treatment.

From helping to diagnose diseases more accurately, to developing personalized treatments and optimizing care processes, technology has been making important breakthroughs.

These advances not only help improve the quality of medical services, but also create new opportunities for research and development of advanced treatments," said Mr. Co.

Speaking at the conference, Professor Nguyen Thanh Thuy, President of the Vietnam Association of Information Technology, said that many countries have developed strategies to develop and apply artificial intelligence in the medical field.

In particular, the application of AI in medicine aims to diagnose and treat, helping to detect diseases early, improve diagnostic accuracy and optimize treatment methods.

In addition, using AI also helps manage patient information, analyze big data, help improve patient record management and treatment processes.

In addition, the application also helps predict and prevent diseases with many different sources to predict disease risks, thereby providing timely prevention solutions.

During the conference, domestic and international experts also shared some other interesting contents such as the paperless smart hospital model; artificial intelligence - exponential technology in the future and its application in medicine; comparison of epidemiological characteristics of COVID-19 patients in Vietnam and Japan... The conference took place over 3 days from September 25 to 27.
