On December 29, the Phu Yen Provincial Party Executive Committee met to consider and issue a disciplinary warning to Mr. Tran Quang Nhat, former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2011-2016 term.
Mr. Tran Quang Nhat was disciplined for his lack of responsibility, lax leadership, direction, and lack of inspection, leading to violations of legal regulations on bidding and implementation of a number of projects/bidding packages carried out by AIC and businesses in the AIC ecosystem.
Regarding Mr. Tran Quang Nhat's violation, the Provincial Party Committee also considered and imposed a disciplinary warning on Mr. Nguyen Phat, former Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Phu Yen province.
On this occasion, the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee also met, reviewed and disciplined Mr. Pham Van Bay, Secretary of Tuy An District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, by reprimand. Mr. Bay bears general responsibility and responsibility as the head for the violations and shortcomings of the Tuy An District Party Committee Standing Committee for the 2020-2025 term in leading and directing the implementation of instructions from superiors; not regularly inspecting, supervising and directing the handling of individuals who built works for business services and tourism activities in the area, violating land laws, causing bad public opinion, affecting the reputation of the local Party Committee, government and the comrade himself.
Regarding Mr. Nguyen Duy Duong, former Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of the province, during his tenure as Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, he advised the Provincial People's Committee to allocate land, lease land, reclaim land, and change land use purposes to implement the project of exploiting minerals for common construction materials to serve the Deo Ca Road Tunnel project, which did not follow the prescribed procedures.
Considering the nature, level, cause and consequences of the violation, based on Party regulations, the Phu Yen Provincial Party Executive Committee voted to discipline Mr. Nguyen Duy Duong with a reprimand.
However, the statute of limitations for disciplinary action has now expired, so no disciplinary decision has been issued, requiring comrade Nguyen Duy Duong to seriously learn from his experience.
