The exhibition displays 100 works, including 50 works about urban landscapes and 50 works about social - life - cultural events as a joint contribution, recording the proud and loving mark of the city named after Uncle Ho.

Artist Ngo Thi Thu Ba shared: “10 years ago, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, I organized an exhibition with the same theme. This second time, I continue to display images of my city. Although it is a city that is too familiar in every beat of life, when I pick up the camera and look at the city through the lens, everything becomes very interesting and lively. I believe that when I look at everything with emotion and love, even the most ordinary things become special and soulful in the frame.”

During the creative process, NSNA Thu Ba always looks for a new perspective. The female photographer often uses natural light at special times of the day such as early morning or sunset to create depth and atmosphere for each photo, or uses a flycam to get a panoramic view from above.

“The camera angle is an element that I pay special attention to. I often lower or raise the viewing angle, or choose asymmetrical, unconventional compositions to create surprise and novelty for the viewer. To show the diverse and colorful development of the city, I use the high angle of the flycam and also the panorama technique,” shared artist Thu Ba.
