The concentration and accumulation of land in Can Loc (Ha Tinh) will form large-scale production areas, contributing to accelerating the implementation of solutions to restructure the agricultural sector.
On the morning of September 15, in Son Loc commune, Can Loc district People's Committee held a launching ceremony to implement the land concentration model and launch the construction of internal irrigation traffic to serve the spring crop production in 2024.
In 2023, Can Loc strives to concentrate land, forming large-scale production areas on an area of over 3,800 hectares. Of which, the District People's Committee selected 6 communes: Thuong Loc, Tung Loc, Kim Song Truong, Trung Loc, Vuong Loc, Son Loc to carry out land conversion on a commune-wide scale with over 2,640 hectares.
The remaining localities implement option 3 (a combination of land conversion and building model fields according to the criteria of the District People's Committee) on about 1,170 hectares.

For the third land conversion, the district directed localities to prioritize villages, hamlets or cooperatives for implementation, and to complete the implementation at each unit.
After conversion, ensure the target of each household using 1-2 plots (of which 75-80% of households use 1 plot) in areas with concentrated land. The surplus land fund after conversion is prioritized for reserve or construction of cultural institutions, planting trees, concentrated livestock areas to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas.
Machines were deployed to break the banks of the fields and build roads in the fields of Son Loc commune right after the launching ceremony.
Also at the ceremony, Can Loc District People's Committee launched a campaign for localities to build internal irrigation traffic to serve spring crop production in 2024.
Implementing Resolution No. 01-NQ/HU dated August 20, 2020 of the District Party Committee on land concentration, forming concentrated production areas, strengthening linkages, and improving efficiency in agricultural production, in the period from 2020 - 2022, Can Loc has implemented more than 3,300 hectares.
