However, in some traditional journalism genres, there has always been readers' interest, such as memoirs, essays, editorials... which are increasingly less, over the seasons, press agencies have rarely sent works in this genre to participate in the Awards. This requires innovation in the propaganda work about the Awards, how to always encourage grassroots organizations, mobilize press agencies and magazines to participate.

Journalist Ngo Minh Tuan - Editor-in-Chief of Party Building Magazine informed about the results of the Award.

Journalist Nguyen Duc Loi assessed that there is still confusion about distinguishing between press genres when submitting entries to the Awards. The Association of Journalists at the grassroots level needs to have specific guidance on this issue, to enhance the responsibility of leaders of press agencies and branches in the process of screening and selecting works to submit to the Awards.

Journalist Nguyen Duc Loi said that this year and in recent years, the quality of works between central and local press agencies has been increasingly narrowing, which shows that the professional quality of local journalists and investment in local journalism technology have made many improvements. Regarding the genre of press photos, this year the quality is better, which shows a positive change, however, the content of single photos is still weak, many authors still keep the habit of sending photo series, while there are few artistic photos in press works.
