Gratitude and maturity ceremonies are traditional activities of high schools for senior students, helping them have more beautiful memories before the end of the school year and entering the high school graduation exam.
The board of directors, teachers and students offer incense and report their achievements at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam.
The ceremony was attended by the school's Board of Directors, homeroom teachers, 341 students and parents of grade 12 students at Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School.
At the gratitude and maturity ceremony, many students had memorable memories. Joy, sadness, smiles mixed with tears of regret… were the common emotions of students when they had to say goodbye to teachers, school, and friends. This was considered a milestone to conclude their 3 years of high school.
Nguyen Phuong Linh, class 12D1, Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School shared: "When I am immersed in the solemn atmosphere at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, I feel motivated to try harder to study. I think we will strive hard in the upcoming high school exam to be worthy of the love that our parents and teachers have for us."
The incense offering ceremony, reporting achievements and showing gratitude and maturity to 341 grade 12 students of Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School took place in an emotional and impressive atmosphere.
Phuong Linh said that the incense offering and reporting activities at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam and the Gratitude and Coming of Age Ceremony for 12th grade students received 100% support from students and parents.
Linh confided: "I also feel quite emotional when looking back on my past 12 years of studying. And when it ended, I had an incense offering ceremony and a coming-of-age ceremony at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, and I felt like I had matured a lot."
Sharing with Thanh Nien , Dr. Pham Sy Cuong, Party Cell Secretary and Principal of the school, said that this is an annual activity, organized by the school in conjunction with the parents' association.
"This is one of the activities that the school wants to educate children about lifestyle, behavioral culture, and how they express gratitude to their parents and teachers. It teaches children to have a will in life and become people who always have a spirit of progress and know how to balance in life," said Mr. Cuong.
After the incense offering and reporting activities at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, the students organized the program "Gratitude Ceremony and 18th Birthday".

Mr. Dang Viet Bach, a parent of a student in class 12D3, expressed his gratitude when the school organized activities that were both spiritually meaningful for students to remember the origin of learning and meaningful to show gratitude to their parents and teachers.
"Perhaps, the children are the ones who are less nervous, but the parents are the ones who are more nervous. Because, the parents are a part of this ceremony, receiving gratitude from the children and also receiving words of thanks from the children. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for us to say thank you to the teachers and witness the moment of maturity of the children. Surely these are unforgettable memories in the memories of the parents," Mr. Bach shared.
