The contest has attracted more than 1,030 works in the genres of poetry, essays and short stories from students across the country. Among them, the youngest contestant was born in 2013.

The notable point in this year's results is that only one first prize was awarded to the work "Hèm mua hương" by author Đinh Ngọc Bảo Trân, a student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU-HCM, in the essay genre. In other genres, the highest award is the second prize.

Although it did not win the highest prize, the poem "One day I will go to the sea" by author Le Nguyen Anh Duong (pen name Le Nhan Tran), a student at the Academy of Justice (Hanoi), left a deep impression. This work won second prize in the poetry category.

On stage, artist Thuc An recited this poem in the traditional Ca Tru style. The combination of the author’s youthful, aspirational voice and the 84-year-old artist’s deep, emotional Ca Tru recitation created an impressive performance, evoking pride in traditional cultural values.
