Bui Huyen Trang and Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh won first prize in The Voice of Hanoi

Bui Huyen Trang and Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh are the two names announced at the final round of the Hanoi Voice 2024 contest.

The final round of the Hanoi Voice 2024 contest took place on the evening of November 28 at the Hanoi Opera House.

The contest is organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports to arouse and nurture love for the homeland, country, and Hanoi, deepen national pride, and at the same time contribute to promoting cultural and artistic activities, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, improving the cultural and spiritual life of the capital's people.

According to information from the organizing committee, surpassing more than 400 contestants, 12 contestants entered the final round of The Voice of Hanoi 2024 including:

Bui Huyen Trang, Nguyen Tran Hieu, Mac Hoang Luong, Phan Trung Kien, Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh, Nguyen Minh Phuong, Luu Thi Huong Thao, Dinh Xuan Dat, Doan Ngoc Linh, Le Thanh Tung, Mai Nguyen Anh and Duong Ngoc Anh.

In the final night, the contestants performed with a band a song in chamber, folk or pop style.

As a result, the organizers awarded first prize in the chamber music category to Bui Huyen Trang and first prize in the light music category to Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh. Each contestant received a prize of 100 million VND.

3 second prizes went to Mai Nguyen Anh (pop music), Dinh Xuan Dat, Phan Trung Kien (chamber music) and 5 third prizes went to Nguyen Minh Phuong (Folk music), Doan Ngoc Linh, Mac Hoang Luong, Le Thanh Tung (pop music), Nguyen Tran Hieu (chamber music).

Luu Thi Huong Thao received the award for the best song about Hanoi. Mai Nguyen Anh won the award for the contestant most loved by the audience and Duong Ngoc Anh received the award for the contestant most loved by the judges.

Good voice Hanoi is the biggest reward

Previously, at the press conference announcing the contest, there were opinions that the prize value was "a bit low".

Mr. Do Dinh Hong, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hanoi City, said that the cash value is not large, but the biggest and most meaningful reward is that the winning contestants will from now on be associated with the brand of The Voice of Hanoi.

According to the department's leaders, many famous singers of Vietnamese music came from here such as People's Artist Tan Minh, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, singers Hong Nhung, My Linh, Tung Duong...

This is a prestigious competition in terms of expertise, which has been affirmed over time.
