Mr. Pham Huu Tri (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City), a travel enthusiast, had a tour and vacation with his wife and two children at the Endless Fields Tourist Area (Moc Hoa District, Long An Province) on the weekend. The main experiences of his family during the two-day, one-night tour to Endless Fields include: Experiencing “forest bathing” therapy – experiencing the fresh, comfortable air and admiring the diverse vegetation in the Dong Thap Muoi Medicinal Herb Reserve, bringing relaxation, reducing fatigue, a spiritual therapy; soaking medicinal feet with natural essential oils; Kayaking, composite canoeing, swimming, diving to see the vegetation in the rainwater lake, participating in folk games, and physical games for children; visiting the primeval Melaleuca forest in the tourist area by boat, Sao Mai Medicinal Herb Planting Area – a gene source conservation area with rare and unique medicinal plants of the Dong Thap Muoi region; Visit Moc Hoa Tram Factory - a place that produces natural medicinal products such as essential oils, cosmetics, functional foods, oriental medicine... Regarding cuisine, his family enjoyed many famous local specialties such as: steamed snails with lemongrass, braised eel with Morinda leaves, boiled mixed vegetables, fish hotpot, red-fleshed dragon fruit drinks, medicinal drinks such as guava leaf water, ginger - lemongrass - honey water... not only quench thirst but also help the digestive system. Accommodation services at the Eco-zone are also very diverse and convenient, located in the eco-zone so it is very quiet and cool, very suitable for a vacation. Before returning to the city, tourists can choose to buy local pharmaceuticals and cosmetics as gifts for relatives, or for their own use, all of which are very suitable. Dong Thap Muoi Center for Research, Conservation and Development of Medicinal Herbs with an area of over 1,000 hectares, has a large, pristine flooded Melaleuca ecosystem and is also a place to preserve many rare herbal genes, and the largest place to extract essential oils in the region.
Moc Hoa district is only more than 80km from Ho Chi Minh City, with famous tourist destinations such as: Dong Thap Muoi Center for Research on Conservation and Development of Medicinal Herbs, Tan Lap Floating Village or Endless Fields Tourist Area, connected to Lang Sen Wetland Reserve (Tan Hung District), which are typical tourist destinations of Dong Thap Muoi region in general and the specific tourism development goal of Long An in the future. In particular, at the end of October, Long An provincial leaders took the Korean Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City and experts to visit and experience tourism programs at Dong Thap Muoi Center for Research on Conservation and Development of Medicinal Herbs, Tan Lap Floating Village on the occasion of this unit's survey and working trip in the locality to prepare for the 2nd Culture - Sports - Tourism Week in 2024 (from November 28 to December 4) in the locality; It is expected that many organizations and units from Korea will participate in activities this week.
The image of “Safe, friendly, attractive Long An tourism” creates great attraction for domestic and foreign tourists and investors, a direction that this locality focuses on according to the Resolution on the Master Plan for tourism development of Long An province to 2020 and vision to 2030, with the common goal of becoming a leading satellite tourist destination of Ho Chi Minh City in the Mekong Delta tourism region.
