Brazil is eager to have coach Ancelotti.

"The Brazilian Football Confederation will do everything to convince Carlo Ancelotti to take the hot seat in the national team. If not, Jorge Jesus will be plan B," Globo Esporte reported.

CBF President Ednaldo Rodrigues, who was recently re-elected, needs a new coach to regain his reputation and appease public opinion, and Ancelotti is the name expected to revive Samba football, after Dorival Junior was fired.

However, Ancelotti's contract with Real Madrid runs until 2026, and the FIFA Club World Cup taking place in June are the main obstacles that make it difficult for Brazil to convince the Italian coach to immediately join the project.

This season, Ancelotti has still done well, even having the chance to help Real win the first treble in history. The possibility of "Don Carlo" being fired at the end of the season is quite low. Previously, he also affirmed that he has no right to decide the future. "Everything depends on the board of directors," said the former Everton coach.

If Ancelotti cannot be convinced, Jorge Jesus will be the name that the CBF will consider. The 70-year-old coach helped Al Hilal win the Saudi Pro League championship unbeaten last season. Under Jesus, the Riyadh capital team became a cohesive team with a diverse attacking style.

In addition to Ancelotti and Jesus, former Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis, who won three titles in just six months, is also a potential candidate. However, many are concerned that the current Flamengo coach does not have enough experience to lead Brazil at the 2026 World Cup.
