Ministry of Health appoints Director of Department of Preventive Medicine

On the afternoon of March 21, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan presented the decision to appoint the Director of the Department of Preventive Medicine, Ministry of Health to Dr. Hoang Minh Duc - Deputy Director in charge of managing and operating the Department of Preventive Medicine.

Accordingly, in Decision No. 628 signed and issued on March 15, 2024, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan appointed Dr. Hoang Minh Duc - Deputy Director in charge of management and operation of the Department of Preventive Medicine to hold the position of Director of the Department of Preventive Medicine, Ministry of Health.

The term of office is 5 years from the effective date of the decision. The decision takes effect from the date of signing and promulgation.

Speaking at the ceremony to hand over the appointment decision, Minister Dao Hong Lan, on behalf of the Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Health, congratulated Dr. Hoang Minh Duc on being trusted and assigned tasks by the Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry.

Appreciating the achievements of the Department of Preventive Medicine in recent times and the efforts of Dr. Hoang Minh Duc personally. However, according to Minister Dao Hong Lan, preventive medicine is a broad and important field, so it is recommended that in the newly appointed position, Mr. Hoang Minh Duc continue to promote his working ability and solidarity spirit to work with the Department of Preventive Medicine to excellently complete the tasks assigned by the Ministry of Health, for the common development of the health sector.
