Including the transfer of the State management function on vocational education from the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to the Ministry of Education and Training.
Implementing the plan to reorganize and streamline the Government's apparatus, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung, Minister Nguyen Kim Son and Minister Dao Hong Lan agreed to sign the minutes of handover and acceptance of a number of units under the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs to the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Health according to the Project approved by competent authorities.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs transfers the state management function of vocational education to the Ministry of Education and Training to receive and organize implementation in accordance with current laws.

The transferred units include: General Department of Vocational Education (including the Institute of Vocational Education Science as a affiliated public service unit).
Units under the Prime Minister's decision-making authority: Nam Dinh University of Technical Education, Vinh University of Technical Education, Vinh Long University of Technical Education.
14 units under the decision-making authority of the Minister of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs include: College of Engineering and Technology, Dung Quat College of Technology, College of Technology II, College of Construction No. 1, Ho Chi Minh City College of Construction, Nam Dinh College of Construction, College of Urban Construction, Vietnam - Soviet Vocational College No. 1, Lilama II International College of Technology, College of Construction Mechanics, College of Construction and Technology - Society, Hanoi College of Technology - Vocational, Secondary Vocational School of Construction Mechanics, Vocational Education Equipment Company Limited.
Leaders of ministries coordinate and direct the implementation of work contents related to the handover and reception work to ensure conditions for units to continue to operate stably; pay attention to the legitimate rights and interests of civil servants, public employees and workers of units after the handover.
Decree 37 of the Government stipulates that the organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training will be reduced from 23 to 18 units. After the reorganization, the Ministry of Education and Training will reduce 5 units but will add the Department of Vocational Education and Continuing Education. In particular, the vocational education sector will be transferred from the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to the Ministry of Education and Training.
