The list of dry ports includes: Hai Linh dry port (ICD) (Phu Tho); Km 3+4 Mong Cai dry port, Quang Ninh province; Tan Cang Hai Phong dry port; Dinh Vu dry port - Quang Binh; Hoang Thanh dry port; Long Bien dry port; Tan Cang Ha Nam dry port; Phuc Loc dry port - Ninh Binh; Tan Cang Nhon Trach dry port; Tan Cang Que Vo dry port; Tan Cang Long Binh dry port phase 1; Phu My dry port (phase 1); Thanh Phuoc dry port and Nam Dinh Vu dry port (phase 1).
The list of Vietnam's dry ports has 3 new dry ports including Thanh Phuoc dry port, Nam Dinh Vu dry port (phase 1) and Phu My dry port (phase 1).
Vietnam Maritime Administration is assigned the responsibility to perform the functions and tasks prescribed in Decree No. 38/2017 of the Government on investment, construction, management and exploitation of dry ports and relevant legal provisions.
Thus, compared to Decision 506/2023 of the Ministry of Transport on the announcement of the List of Vietnam's dry ports, the new list has added 3 new dry ports including Thanh Phuoc dry port, Nam Dinh Vu dry port (phase 1) and Phu My dry port (phase 1).
In which, Thanh Phuoc dry port is located at No. 207, DT747A, Group 1, Tan Luong Quarter, Thanh Phuoc Ward, Tan Uyen City, Binh Duong Province with the investor being Thanh Phuoc Port Joint Stock Company.
The port has the meaning of clearing waterways, opening a gateway for goods trade between Binh Duong province and other provinces and cities in the country, helping businesses transport goods conveniently, quickly and cost-effectively.
Phu My dry port (phase 1) is located in Phu My 3 specialized industrial park, Phuoc Hoa ward, Phu My town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. The port has a scale of 37.8 hectares, including 6 wharves, capable of connecting by waterway to seaports, ICDs in the region as well as areas supplying raw materials for production and consuming products nationwide to Phu My 3 specialized industrial park.
Nam Dinh Vu dry port (phase 1) belongs to Dinh Vu - Cat Hai economic zone, Hai Phong, with investor being ICD Nam Dinh Vu Joint Stock Company.
The port is conveniently connected to industrial parks (Nam Dinh Vu, Minh Phuong, Deep C...), logistics centers, Lach Huyen International Port and many other seaports of Hai Phong to facilitate the circulation of goods to provinces/cities... nationwide and internationally.
