On the morning of October 12, Lieutenant Colonel Dam Bao Quan, Chief of Di An City Police, Binh Duong Province, said that he had just issued a decision to temporarily detain VDL, a teacher at a secondary school in Di An City, to investigate his acts of abuse against students at the school.

According to Di An City Police, VDL is a teacher in charge of a team at a middle school in the city. During his time working, the suspect is suspected of repeatedly abusing the NTTD child, specifically: touching the waist, chest, abdomen, sensitive parts... showing signs of the crime of indecent assault against a person under 16 years old, as stipulated in Article 146 of the 2015 Penal Code.

The suspect was detained by the police to clarify signs of child molestation.

As reported by SGGP Newspaper, on October 11, the authorities of Di An City, Binh Duong Province coordinated to verify and clarify information about parents accusing a male junior high school teacher in Di An City of sexually abusing female students at school.
