Commendation of exemplary workers who are party members

(Dan Tri) - The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor organized a ceremony to honor workers who are Party members with many high achievements in labor, production, and contributions to Party building.

To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress, the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) issued a Plan to organize a National Conference to honor exemplary workers who are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Through this conference, we will recognize and honor outstanding workers in all types of enterprises who are Party members, have many achievements in labor and production, and contribute to Party building, building strong grassroots trade union organizations, especially the development of Party members who are workers in enterprises.

The conference is an opportunity for party members to exchange and share experiences in the process of cultivating, training and striving to become exemplary party members.

Thereby, to encourage workers to strive to become Party members; to raise awareness and pride of union members when being honored to stand in the ranks of the Party; at the same time, to affirm the responsibility of the Vietnam Trade Union in participating in building a clean and strong Party and political system.

Through the conference, promote further attention of Party committees and organizations at all levels in leading and directing the workers' movement and trade union activities, especially the work of developing Party members who are workers.

Besides, this is also an opportunity to strengthen the close relationship between the Party and the working class, creating motivation for union members to continue to strive, confidently move forward under the Party's flag, and contribute to building the homeland and country to become increasingly rich, civilized and modern.

Regarding conditions, workers directly involved in production; managers from the level of production team leader (or equivalent) or lower in enterprises of all economic sectors with trade unions, with at least 10 years of work experience, and admitted to the Party for at least 3 years (as of November 30).

Workers must also meet specific standards regarding politics, ideology, ethics, lifestyle, working style, discipline, and performance in assigned duties and tasks.
