This year's September 2nd holiday lasts 4 days. Despite the hot weather, the Sam Son beach resort in Thanh Hoa province had few visitors on the first day, quite different from the first day of the April 30th and May 1st holidays (right photo).
According to information from the Department of Culture and Information of Sam Son city, the number of visitors on the first day of the holiday was not large. The whole city has more than 700 accommodation establishments with 15,000 rooms, but the number of guests booked only accounts for 10-15%.
“On the first day of the holiday, Sam Son had few visitors. Maybe tomorrow (September 1), the number of visitors will be higher,” said a representative of the Department of Culture and Information of Sam Son city.

At the center of beach B, tourists can comfortably swim in the sea because the number of people coming on the first day of the holiday is less than every year.

Shops selling soft drinks and toys along the beach are sparsely populated.

Because there were few people swimming on the beach, the two children and their mother were able to play comfortably in the sea to cool off.

A group of tourists organized fun and folk dancing at the beach.

The sandy beach at Sam Son beach has few people playing.

At the rocky beach behind Doc Cuoc Temple, some young people gathered to take pictures and enjoy the cool breeze.

No longer as crowded as in the summer, on the first day of the September 2nd holiday, Ho Xuan Huong Street was deserted with people and vehicles. Many electric cars were even struggling to find passengers.
Ms. Tuyet - the electric car driver - said that this was only the first day of the holiday, maybe people were going back to their hometowns to visit their families so there were not many customers. "It is very likely that tomorrow (September 1) will be much more crowded," Ms. Tuyet said.

A parking lot at lot A still has many empty spaces.

In the late afternoon, the number of visitors to the beach increased somewhat, but there was no jostling or crowding.
