This message emphasizes the determination to realize the country's development goals, creating a historical turning point opening a new period of national development that is welcomed by the people of the whole country and is of interest to friends around the world. After decades of brutal war, from countless hardships, ups and downs, many serious crises and breakdowns throughout the first half century of independence and unification to find a way forward, today the country is determined to create for itself a turning point to enter a new era of development, building a developed Vietnam of democracy - freedom - happiness. This aspiration lies in the quality and vitality of the Vietnamese people throughout the history of all its ups and downs, from a thousand years of Chinese domination to the era of "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom!" today. Each of us should not forget for a moment the bloody and tearful path of our entire nation - I emphasize, of our entire nation - to regain independence and unity for the Fatherland, so that today we are determined to be worthy of the historical turning point that the country has created in the peace and stability of the country. Today, the country continues to gain new achievements in the economy, in diplomacy, and its international position has been clearly raised one step further. This is extremely important and rare in the context of the current fiercely unstable world. Let's look at the world and then look back at our country. What is more fortunate for a country than when we are striving to create for ourselves a new turning point of development in peace? Even more, this is not a blessing from heaven but is created by our will, urging in each of us the will to care for the tree of the FATHERLAND in the new era to be forever green. We are both thirsty and facing unprecedented challenges in our lifetime, having to strive to care for and develop a prosperous nation in the new era, together with countries in the international community, devoting ourselves to peaceful coexistence, friendship and cooperation among all nations and together protecting life on this earth. This noble dream is completely worthy of each of us to overcome ourselves. However, the life-and-death challenge for the Fatherland is that if we are weak, allowing external forces or our own childish weaknesses to trample the young shoots of the living trees, the price the country must pay will be extremely high. Each party member and each Vietnamese citizen - and first of all, today's Party leaders - must have enough courage to overcome the huge challenges ahead, not to mention the countless difficulties and problems that must be overcome today after half a century of the whole country struggling to find a way for the country to move forward. The entire Party today and the entire country are determined to surpass themselves, together to protect to the end this Fatherland that belongs to all of us, to protect for the country the path of the new era, the historical turning point that has opened. The Party today is the one who created the historical turning point and initiated the era of national rise, so it can be said figuratively: The weight of today's new challenge for each citizen of the country is one, then for each Party member it must be ten. That means since its founding, the Party is facing unprecedented demands and challenges of the new situation and tasks of the country on the way to entering the new era. The whole country together sacrifices itself to shoulder all national responsibilities and obligations, united and united, the country will win!
