Despite the rain, tens of thousands of people flocked to the Hung Temple Historical Site in Phu Tho early in the morning. From the main gate to the Lower Temple and Upper Temple, the stream of people continued unceasingly before the main festival day.

According to Tuoi Tre Online, from 7am, Lac Hong Street and the parking lot of the relic site were packed with people and vehicles. Traffic police and public security forces had to constantly direct traffic to ensure order.

Many people arrived very early, bringing offerings, food, drinks, and even rented mats to rest right below the entrance to the main temple.

By noon, the number of people pouring in increased, at times causing congestion in the area leading to the Lower Temple and the Upper Temple.

Authorities had to use loudspeakers to remind people to line up, not to jostle and to be on guard against theft.

According to Phu Tho Provincial Police, to ensure absolute security and order during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the 2025 Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week, the authorities have developed a plan and mobilized about 1,000 officers and soldiers to ensure the safety of events and visitors.

At the same time, forces were deployed at nearly 200 checkpoints on roads and areas in the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site and neighboring areas such as Viet Tri City, Phu Ninh District, and Lam Thao.

This year, on the occasion of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day 2025, officials, civil servants, public employees and workers will have 3 consecutive days off, because the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month falls on Monday (April 7th in the solar calendar), and the two adjacent Saturdays and Sundays are weekend days.

The incense offering ceremony to commemorate the Hung Kings in the year of At Ty 2025, organized by Phu Tho province on the morning of April 7 (ie March 10 of the lunar calendar), will have the participation of leaders of the Party, State, ministries, central branches and provinces and cities across the country.

Previously, on the evening of April 6, at the stage south of Van Lang Park Lake (Viet Tri city), the art program "Returning to the festival city" and fireworks took place.
