Ha Tinh Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung, along with delegates and many local people, released more than 5 tons of various types of fish into Ke Go Lake to restore aquatic resources.
On the morning of February 23, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung and Colonel Tran Quoc Xanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Environmental Police (Ministry of Public Security) attended the fish release ceremony to restore aquatic resources in Ke Go Lake (Cam My Commune), organized by Cam Xuyen District. Leaders of several departments, localities, businesses, monks, Buddhists and many local people attended. |
Before the fish release ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung and delegates offered incense at the Temple of late General Secretary Le Duan at Ke Go Lake.
At the ceremony, local authorities released more than 5 tons of fish into Ke Go Lake, including: silver carp (2,300 kg), grass carp (100 kg), carp (100 kg), catfish (200 kg), climbing perch (200 kg)... to supplement and regenerate aquatic resources in the early spring of Giap Thin 2024.
Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung directly released fish fry into Ke Go Lake to contribute to the regeneration of aquatic resources.
The local government mobilized resources to support these fish from businesses such as: Sao Vang Dat Viet Construction - Trade - Service Company Limited, Viet Xanh Quy Nhon Construction - Trade - Service Company Limited (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam Clean Energy Joint Stock Company, both in Ho Chi Minh City; Toan Cau Green Environment Treatment Construction and Trade Investment Company Limited (Tay Ninh).
The activity aims to contribute to propaganda, raising awareness and responsibility of the entire political system in the province on protecting aquatic resources, protecting the environment, protecting biodiversity in Ke Go Lake in particular and dams in Ha Tinh in general. This is also an opportunity for local authorities to strengthen management to prevent exploitation and fishing by destructive means.
