On March 27, in Ho Chi Minh City, the 2025 Vietnam Export Fair - HCM City Export 2025 opened. The event took place from March 27 to March 29, 2025, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center - Ho Chi Minh City.

The fair attracted more than 700 booths from more than 900 domestic and international enterprises to display a variety of product groups: Agricultural products, food, foodstuffs, seafood; Handicrafts, souvenirs, regional specialties; textiles, footwear, supporting industry products, energy; equipment, technology for processing, packaging, preserving food; packaging, printing, labels, export support products (logistics, insurance, finance...).
The fair is an important opportunity to promote, introduce products and connect Vietnamese businesses with domestic and international buyers and distribution systems. Thereby, creating conditions for Vietnamese products to access key markets such as China, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Middle East, USA, UK, etc.

The highlight of HCM City Export this year is the first appearance of “Vietnam Bird’s Nest Space” - opening the series of activities “Bird’s Nest Festival 2025” scheduled to take place in early October 2025. This is an opportunity for the Vietnamese bird’s nest industry to affirm its quality and potential in the domestic and international markets.
In addition, the event also featured typical products from many localities across the country including: Binh Duong, Binh Dinh, Dak Lak, Dong Thap, Hau Giang, Kien Giang, Lao Cai, Long An, Ninh Thuan, Phu Tho, Soc Trang, Tay Ninh, Tien Giang, Tra Vinh, Vinh Long... with a variety of goods, from agricultural products, processed foods to handicrafts, and unique OCOP products.

This year's HCM City Export also attracted the participation of the world's leading e-commerce platforms, especially cross-border platforms such as Alibaba, opening up opportunities to bring Vietnamese products directly to international consumers, promoting exports through e-commerce channels.
In particular, for the first time, HCM City Export 2025 will organize a digital exhibition on the Arobid e-commerce platform in parallel, creating more space and opportunities for international trade. Arobid's participation and launch of the Arobid TradeXpo digital exhibition in parallel with HCM City Export 2025 marks a breakthrough in exhibition technology, integrated with an ecosystem that supports domestic and international businesses and customers to trade and connect across borders 24/7 through online tools on the e-commerce platform.

According to the reporter's records, up to now, the fair has attracted strong interest from nearly 200 international buyers from strategic markets such as: Korea, the United States, Guangdong (China), Singapore, India, Thailand,... These buyers will directly participate in trade connection activities with Vietnamese enterprises.
Not only that, the Organizing Committee also pays special attention to connecting Vietnamese enterprises with large domestic distribution systems such as Saigon Co.op, Satra, Mega market, Lotte Vietnam, AEON, WinCommerce, GS25, Genshai Mart, Central Retail, Farmers Market,.... This is an opportunity for domestic enterprises to expand distribution channels, promote sustainable development and increase the presence of Vietnamese goods in the market.

Promoting exports in the direction of "Green - Clean - Digital"
Sharing at the event, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung - Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - emphasized: The Fair of Typical Vietnamese Export Goods was started by Ho Chi Minh City in 2023. Up to now, after two times of organization, the fair has become a vibrant meeting place for Vietnamese enterprises and international trade promotion organizations, opening up many opportunities for trade connection between enterprises after each fair.

The 2025 Vietnam Outstanding Export Goods Fair is a key event, an important bridge, creating new opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises, while contributing to enhancing the value of the national brand in the international arena.
Emphasizing on grasping the development trends of export industries and products and from the practical needs of businesses, buyers, international trade promotion organizations... Ho Chi Minh City orients this year's fair to focus on the export strategy in the direction of "Green - Clean - Digital" to adapt to the requirements of the global market.

Mr. Nguyen Van Dung believes that following the success of the “Vietnam Outstanding Export Fair” two years ago, this year’s fair promises to continue to bring practical results. At the same time, it will open up new opportunities and new successes for the Vietnamese and international business community, and especially bring the “Vietnamese Bird’s Nest” brand to the international market right from this year’s fair.
“After the fair, the organizing unit (Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Trade Promotion Agency - Ministry of Industry and Trade) will continue to monitor and support Vietnamese enterprises to connect with international enterprises and trade promotion organizations to understand the needs to promote export opportunities to new markets. At the same time, grasp the needs and invite interested international enterprises and buyers to participate and connect with trade at the Yen Festival 2025 that Ho Chi Minh City will organize in November this year,” Mr. Nguyen Van Dung suggested.
