Closing ceremony of training courses on skills, expertise, and in-depth knowledge of religious work in the city in 2024 (phase 2)

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of September 27, To Hieu Political School coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs to organize the Closing Ceremony of training courses on skills, expertise, and in-depth knowledge of religious work in the city in 2024 (phase 2). Attending the conference were comrades: Nguyen Kim Pha, Principal of To Hieu Political School; Dang Thi Phuong Lien, Deputy Head of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and representatives of the Religious Affairs Committee, Department of Home Affairs.

The 2024 training course on skills, expertise, and in-depth knowledge of religious work in the city, phase 2, consisting of 4 classes, opened on September 23, 2024, with more than 200 students summoned to participate. The class took place over 5 days from September 23 to September 27, 2024. Most of the students have a professional degree from university or higher, a political theory level from intermediate level or higher, many students are holding leadership and management positions in localities and units.

Participating in the training course, students studied 18 key topics on beliefs and religions such as: Party's viewpoints, policies and laws of the State; Protestantism, Caodaism, Catholicism, Buddhism, State management of beliefs and religions and handling of religious hotspots... In addition, the class listened to practical reports on a number of issues related to the implementation of religious mobilization and solidarity work in Hai Phong.

The lectures all ensure a connection with vivid, rich, convincing practice, feasible solutions, and sharing skills to handle situations arising in state management of religion. During the lessons, students also actively exchanged and discussed theoretical and practical issues, especially issues arising in the work of religion and belief in the city today.

At the end of the course, 240 students were recognized by Principal To Hieu of Political School for completing the course and were awarded certificates.
