Continuing the first working session, on the afternoon of September 20, the 10th Congress of Delegates of the Farmers' Association of Ha Tinh province for the 2023-2028 term listened to the review report of the Executive Committee for the 2018-2023 term and elected the Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of the province for the new term.

Attending the congress were Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Truong Thanh Huyen; leaders of a number of units under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union; representatives of relevant departments and branches.

The 9th Congress of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 2018-2023 term elected an Executive Committee consisting of 29/31 members (2 members were absent). During the term, the Executive Committee had 17 changes, of which 14 members transferred jobs and 3 members retired. The Executive Committee was reorganized and elected 12 additional members. Before this congress, the Executive Committee had 24 members.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Anh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term IX, reported on the review of the Executive Committee for the term 2018 - 2023.

During the term, the Provincial Farmers' Association Executive Committee focused on directing, organizing the study and dissemination of directives and resolutions in a serious, urgent, systematic and scientific manner. Directing the implementation of digital transformation, applying information technology, promoting the role of social networks in the propaganda and dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws; focusing on the grassroots, strengthening inspection and supervision work, promptly resolving newly arising issues and praising and replicating advanced models, typical examples, good, creative and effective practices.

Attention has been paid to the leadership and organization of the implementation of the resolutions of the congresses of farmers' associations at all levels for the 2018-2023 term. At the same time, the leadership has focused on successfully organizing the congresses of farmers' associations at the district and grassroots levels for the 2023-2028 term, preparing for the 10th Provincial Farmers' Association Congress for the 2023-2028 term.

Mr. Ngo Van Huynh - Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term IX, approved the personnel plan for the Executive Committee for the 2023 - 2028 term.

At the working session, the congress elected the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 2023-2028 term. Accordingly, the delegates voted and elected 28 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 10th term (1 comrade was absent according to the personnel plan). These are comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Association; leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Support Center and Committees; chairmen of the Farmers' Associations of districts, cities and towns; representatives of the leaders of coordinating departments and branches; representatives of enterprises and cooperatives; and exemplary farmers.

Also this afternoon, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term X, held its first conference to deploy a number of important contents.
