The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting informed that at 7:00 p.m. today, the center of storm Yinxing was located at about 18.6 degrees North latitude; 121.6 degrees East longitude, in the sea north of Luzon Island (Philippines).
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 15 (167-183km/h), gusting over level 17; moving west at a speed of 10-15km/h.
It is forecast that by tomorrow evening, storm Yinxing will be in the eastern sea of the North East Sea, about 680km east-northeast of the Paracel Islands.
The strongest wind in the storm center is level 14, gusting to level 17; moving west at 15-20km per hour, entering the East Sea.
In the next 24 hours, Typhoon Yinxing will be about 390km northeast of the Paracel Islands. The strongest wind in the storm center is level 12, gusting to level 14; moving west-northwest at about 15km per hour and gradually weakening.
At 7 p.m. on November 10, Typhoon Yinxing was about 260 km north of the Paracel Islands. The strongest wind in the storm's center was level 11-12, gusting to level 14; moving mainly in the West-Southwest direction, traveling 5-10 km per hour.
From the next 72 to 120 hours, the storm is likely to change direction to move southwest, traveling 10-15km per hour, and continue to weaken.
Impact of the storm, the eastern sea area of the North East Sea has strong winds of level 6-7; from the night of November 7, it will increase to level 8-11, near the eye of the storm, level 12-14, gusting to level 17. Waves are 4-6m high, near the eye of the storm, 6-8m; the sea is very rough.
The meteorological agency warns that ships operating in the above-mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds, and large waves.
