On the afternoon of October 4, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Vien district held a dialogue conference with cadres working on grassroots front work in 2023.
Attending the dialogue were representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; leaders of Gia Vien district; representatives of a number of departments and offices of the district and grassroots front officials in Gia Vien district.
At the dialogue, there were 21 comments from comrades working for the Fatherland Front at communes and towns and Heads of the Fatherland Front Working Committee in residential areas in the district, exchanging, proposing and recommending many contents related to the following issues: Arrangement of commune-level administrative units; personnel work, regimes and policies for Fatherland Front staff; ensuring conditions for the activities of the Fatherland Front Committee at the grassroots level; the issue of people's participation in insurance; leadership and direction of the Party Committee, coordination of the government in social supervision and criticism activities; activities of the People's Inspection Committee, the Community Investment Supervision Committee and the activities of the Fatherland Front Working Committee in residential areas.
In particular, many delegates requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, all levels and sectors of the district to explain and clarify solutions and policies to support redundant cadres who have to quit their jobs due to the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units; prepare personnel for the Commune-level Fatherland Front Congress for communes subject to the rearrangement of administrative units in the period of 2023-2030; operating costs of the Commune-level Fatherland Front after the rearrangement; the situation and solutions to handle the increasing online fraud; benefits of purchasing voluntary health insurance; the issue of the Fatherland Front supervising agencies and units at the same level...
With a high sense of responsibility, the representatives of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Standing Committee of the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and leaders of the district's departments, offices, and branches listened to and accepted the opinions and proposals of the delegates and directly discussed and answered questions within their authority.
For issues beyond its authority, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district receives, synthesizes, and reports to relevant levels and sectors for response and resolution.
The dialogue conference is an opportunity for the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district to clearly understand the thoughts, aspirations, difficulties, obstacles and shortcomings in the work of the front at the grassroots level.
At the same time, through dialogue, to propagate, disseminate, deploy and properly and fully implement the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's policies and laws, the province's and the district's policies and laws on Fatherland Front activities.
Thereby creating solidarity between the Party, government and people with the motto "listen to people, speak so that people understand, do so that people believe" and promote the role of the great national unity bloc, contributing to socio-economic development, ensuring security and defense and building the district's political system to be increasingly clean, strong and developed.
