Handing over the Front's House of Gratitude

On the afternoon of January 7, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Xuyen City (An Giang Province) held a ceremony to hand over the Front's House of Gratitude to grassroots Front officials in My Khanh Commune.

The Front House of Love was built with a total cost of 130 million.

Attending the handover ceremony were Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province Dang Thi Hoa Ray and leaders of the People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Xuyen city.

The Front official who was awarded the Front's House of Love is Mr. Nguyen Van Giang - Head of the Front's Working Committee in Dong An 2 Hamlet, My Xuyen Ward. According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Xuyen City, Mr. Giang's old house has deteriorated and is often flooded when it rains. Meanwhile, 8 members of Mr. Giang's family depend on his income, so their situation is very difficult.

Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province Dang Thi Hoa Ray presented the house to Mr. Giang at the house handover ceremony.

The Front House of Love was built with a total budget of 130 million VND. Of which, the Fatherland Front Committees of districts, towns and cities in An Giang province supported 50 million VND, the rest came from social mobilization sources.

At the house handover ceremony, Mr. Giang expressed his great emotion and considered this both a joy and a motivation to continue to overcome difficulties and fulfill his role as head of the Front's working committee in the coming time.
