Specifically, the province's economic growth in the first quarter is estimated at about 14.02%, the highest in the country and higher than the province's expected scenario. Of which, industry - construction is estimated to increase by about 17.24%, industry alone is estimated to increase by about 17.97%; agriculture, forestry and fishery increased by 1.05%; services increased by 5.79%. Bac Giang's economic growth is still mainly from industrial production, especially from foreign-invested enterprises expanding their production and business scale, increasing revenue.

It is known that in 2025, Bac Giang strives to achieve a growth target of 14-15%, higher than the target assigned by the Central Government (13.6%). To complete the plan, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Committee Chairman issued directive documents on striving to complete the growth target in 2025. Accordingly, agencies, units and localities are required to review and evaluate the practical situation, improve the capacity of analysis, forecasting, timely response and effective solutions, strive to complete and exceed 18/18 main socio-economic development targets in 2025.
Proactively grasp and effectively exploit opportunities and opportunities from outside and inside the economy to synchronously implement solutions for each industry, field, and locality to promote economic growth; accelerate investment in transport infrastructure, industrial park and cluster infrastructure, digital transformation infrastructure, etc. to create momentum for attracting investment.
In addition, to achieve the growth target, the Provincial People's Committee has assigned specific targets for each industry, field, and locality; at the same time, developed growth scenarios for each quarter, 6 months, and year.
From now until the end of the year, Bac Giang will continue to improve the investment and business environment, attract projects and businesses to invest, create momentum for industrial development; maintain stable agricultural production; and promote service development.
