Calling the India-Australia relationship “long-standing and intergenerational”, the leader added that the Indian community in Australia is the lifeblood of friendship between the two nations.
According to him, Republic Day is "an opportunity to celebrate India's extraordinary success over seven decades of independence. Since then, New Delhi has harnessed the vitality and diligence of its people to build a modern nation, defined by innovation and success."
“It is vital that our relationship has a bright future,” the Australian Prime Minister said. “As we come together to celebrate and cherish the region we call home, we are united in promoting and preserving an open, inclusive, stable and prosperous Indo-Pacific region.”
