iOS 17.1.1 fixes issues for iPhone
GSMARENA SCREENSHOT
Speaking of iOS 17.1.1, Apple’s announcement says it may fix an issue where snow was incorrectly displayed on the Weather widget’s lock screen. But perhaps more importantly, it addresses issues with Apple Pay and other NFC features that some iPhone 15 users were experiencing after wirelessly charging certain BMW and Toyota Supra models.
Some iPhone users have also previously reported various issues with Wi-Fi connectivity and devices suddenly shutting down, however it is unclear whether this update fixes those issues as Apple's changelog makes no mention of them.
To update to iOS 17.1.1, users should open the Settings app > General > Software Update, then follow the on-screen instructions.
Meanwhile, watchOS 10.1.1 aims to fix an issue that could cause rapid battery drain for some Apple Watch users. There are also other important bug fixes that aren't listed individually, so if you feel like your Apple Watch isn't lasting as long on watchOS 10.1 as it used to, make sure you update to the new version as soon as possible.
