In a press release on March 25, Apple officially announced that the WWDC 2025 conference will take place from June 9-13 at Apple Park.

"WWDC25 will be free to all developers and will focus on the latest advancements in Apple software. This is part of Apple's ongoing commitment to supporting developers. The conference will provide access to Apple experts and insights into new tools, frameworks, and features," the Apple statement said.

According to Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations Susan Prescott, at WWDC 2025, Apple revealed that the company will focus on "the latest advances in Apple software".

“Apple is excited to mark another great year of WWDC with our global developer community. We can’t wait to share the latest tools and technologies that will empower developers to continue to innovate,” said Prescott.

Like the 2024 event, Apple is keeping the conference format “entirely online” and free for developers. However, there will be a special in-person event at Apple Park on June 9 with a limited number of attendees.

According to 9to5Mac , Apple will introduce the latest operating systems at WWDC 2025 including iOS 19, iPadOS 19, visionOS 3, tvOS 19, macOS 16, and watchOS 12.

In a Bloomberg Power On report, analyst Mark Gurman said Apple is preparing changes to iOS and macOS that, if accurate, would be “one of the biggest upgrades in history” for iOS and macOS.

Based on rumors, the iOS 19 interface will feature a transparent style similar to visionOS, the operating system for Apple Vision Pro glasses. This includes increased transparency, new window and button designs, creating consistency across all Apple devices.
