The Miss Eco Teen International 2023 contest takes place from October 27 to November 3 in the beautiful coastal city of Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt with many competition categories.
In the semi-finals, contestants competed in Eco Dress, Resost Wear swimsuit, Photoshoot challenge, talent performance and presentation.
The final night includes the following competitions: National costume performance, dance performance, calling out the country's name, evening gown performance, and selecting the top 11 to answer behavioral questions to select the top 5 (1 Miss and 4 Runners-up).
This is one of the world's most prestigious competitions for 14-19 year olds, founded by Dr. Amaal Rezk in 2019, who is also a member working for the United Nations and a volunteer ambassador for the IISAM charity organization under the United Nations.
Anna Hoang was born and raised in London (UK), but her parents are Vietnamese, inheriting the cultural heritage and pure Vietnamese beauty, and being trained by experts from the entertainment company Bell Love, the copyright holder of the contest in Vietnam. Notably, Anna Hoang's coach is Miss Bella Vu (15 years old), who was crowned Miss Eco Teen International in 2021.
The 19 countries that were sent to this year's competition are very beautiful girls with excellent performance skills, including South Africa, the Philippines, Russia, the United States, China, the Czech Republic, Indonesia and the host country, Egypt. The competition promotes the spirit of collective activities, team work and initiatives and solutions to help protect the environment of the global youth generation.
Anna Hoang is also an ao dai designer.
Anna Hoang, representing Vietnam, showed confidence, friendliness and always kept a neat image every time she appeared in all the activities throughout the 7 days of the competition.
The final night, the Vietnamese representative really exploded, breaking through with the evening gown performance and excellent response to behavioral questions, achieving absolute high scores from the judges, helping Anna Hoang overcome many strong opponents in the Top 11 to be crowned 1st Runner-up.
Notably, a few days before flying to Egypt to attend the Miss Eco Teen International 2023 contest, Anna Hoang received the national foreign information initiative award presented by the Central Propaganda Department for the initiative "I love Ao Dai, I love Vietnam" - a project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the United Kingdom.
Sharing after being crowned, Anna Hoang said: "I want to express my gratitude and honor for winning the 1st runner-up position in the Miss Teen Eco International 2023 contest. I was able to represent my country Vietnam and make a difference in our world with this title.
And even though I was the 1st runner-up, which is still unbelievable, I will not let my title go to waste and I will take all the actions that I promised to support our environment and promote my support for the Miss Teen Eco pageant throughout this year and for many years to come."

"In this competition, my mentor and coach was Bella Vu and she guided me before and during the competition so that I could win the runner-up position. This was unbelievable for me because I didn't think I would go this far.
Bella has helped me and she has also done many things to help the Vietnamese community so I want to follow in her footsteps and also help the Vietnamese community to ensure that Vietnam will survive and be able to develop as a great country" - the girl affirmed.
"During the week-long program, we had many activities such as learning to dance, planting trees along the roads in Egypt, collecting leftover waste on the beach... The Miss Eco Teen contest is a great way to build friendships and is also a platform for you to promote what you support" - Anna Hoang shared.
