In the first 6 months of 2024, Thang Binh District Party Committee focused on consolidating and perfecting the team of leaders of grassroots party organizations, departments and localities.

Review and supplement the planning of key leadership positions at the district level and approve the planning of leadership and management positions under the management of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee. Develop a project to arrange party organizations for localities to implement the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the period of 2023 - 2025. In 6 months, 59 party members were admitted, reaching 49.2% of the target set by the District Party Committee Resolution.

Thang Binh District Party Committee has established the Document Subcommittee, Personnel Subcommittee, and Organization Subcommittee to serve the 22nd District Party Congress (term 2025 - 2030). Focus on reviewing and urging to accelerate the completion of targets and objectives set by the resolutions of branch congresses, grassroots party committees, and the Resolution of the 21st District Party Congress (term 2020 - 2025).

Regarding economic development, the total production value of economic sectors in the first 6 months of 2024 is estimated at 6,421 billion VND , up 10.06% over the same period in 2023, reaching 52.31% of the plan. The structure of the industry - construction; trade - services; agriculture - forestry - fishery sectors is 48.82% - 31.75% - 19.43% respectively.
