Large hotels in the province in general and coastal hotels in Nghe An in particular have achieved high service capacity, often over 80% of room capacity.
Tourism activities have improved a lot, major travel agencies in the province have a dense schedule of booking domestic and provincial tours during the April 30 holiday until the end of August. International travel agencies exploiting the outbound and inbound markets of Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Korea, Japan and some European countries have served many groups of tourists for sightseeing and experience.

In total, in the first 6 months, the number of tourists reached 4,900,000, equal to 122% compared to the same period in 2022, of which the number of overnight visitors reached 3,160,000, equal to 125% compared to the same period in 2022; international visitors reached 32,500. Total revenue from tourists reached 11,491 billion VND, of which tourism revenue is estimated at 4,334 billion VND, equal to 142% compared to the same period in 2022.
June is one of the peak months for tourism in Nghe An , the weather starts to get hot and sunny, so the demand for tourism in coastal areas increases, especially on weekends.
In coastal areas of Cua Lo town, Nghi Loc district, Dien Chau, Quynh Luu, Hoang Mai town..., room occupancy rate at large hotels reached an average of 80% and was maintained at a high level, the number of guests using food and beverage services at the beaches was high, especially on weekends.
The above figures show that tourism business activities are recovering and developing strongly according to the trend and need to keep up with new trends in life. Some eco-tourism destinations have added new services, meeting the diversity of customer needs such as: Muong Thanh Greenland Dien Lam Eco-tourism Area, Hon Mat Eco-tourism Site, Truong Gia Farm (Nghia Dan) tourist site, community tourism sites in Western Nghe An, Khe Kem waterfall reopened before the April 30 holiday; Cua Lo coastal tourism urban area, Vinh city, Anh Son, Tan Ky, Que Phong, Quy Hop districts... have many attractive and vibrant tourism products and cultural - tourism events, attracting the attention of domestic and foreign tourists.

The goal set for 2023 is that Nghe An strives to welcome and serve 7,940 million tourists, an increase of 18% compared to 2022, including 81,500 international visitors, an increase of 143% compared to 2022; 5,240 million overnight guests, an increase of 19% compared to 2022, tourism service revenue reaching 7,470 billion VND, an increase of 33% compared to 2022.
To achieve the above goals, the tourism industry focuses on completing the contents according to the 2023 Tourism Development Plan and the whole industry focuses on implementing Decision No. 1439/QD.UBND dated May 23, 2023 of the People's Committee of Nghe An province on approving the Nghe An Tourism Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2035.
