On November 26, the Hanoi New Rural Area Appraisal Team appraised 4 communes meeting advanced new rural standards and model new rural areas in 2024 in Chuong My district.
Of which, 2 communes proposed to be recognized as meeting model rural standards are Tran Phu and Hop Dong; 2 communes proposed to be recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards are: Ngoc Hoa and Thanh Binh.
Tran Phu and Hop Dong communes completed the construction of advanced new rural areas many years ago. After reaching the standards, the two localities continued to implement the construction of model new rural areas.
On this occasion, Tran Phu commune registered to meet the model new rural standards in 2 areas: health and education - training; Hop Dong commune registered to build a model new rural area in 4 areas: culture, health, education - training, security and order.
As a result, with the mandatory criterion of income, both communes achieved more than 80 million VND/person/year; for the smart village model, Tran Phu commune implemented it in Trung Tien village; Hop Dong commune implemented it in Thai Hoa village.
All villages have established community digital technology teams, guiding people to install applications on their phones to serve digital transformation; all cultural houses in villages have free wifi systems... For the elective fields, the communes have implemented them and achieved positive results.
For the two communes proposed for recognition as advanced new rural areas: Ngoc Hoa and Thanh Binh, up to now, both have received investment in traffic infrastructure, schools, and spacious, beautiful medical stations.
In Ngoc Hoa commune, there is Ngoc Hoa Industrial Cluster and adjacent to Phu Nghia Industrial Park, more than 5,000 workers in the commune have jobs in enterprises and stable income.
Meanwhile, in Thanh Binh commune, people have a tradition of raising livestock. Currently, the whole commune has 94 poultry farms; 16 pig farms for companies. In addition, in the commune, there are about 1,000 households with members participating in production and developing the rattan and bamboo weaving profession, more than 1,000 people go abroad to work.
In reality, the communes have done a good job of environmental sanitation, planting trees, and flower roads to beautify the countryside. The cultural, artistic, physical education and sports movements have developed widely. The communes have socialized the installation of outdoor physical education and sports equipment at public places, meeting the physical education and sports needs of the people...
At the conference, the Hanoi New Rural Area Appraisal Team inspected the documents and assessed the actual criteria in the communes. The members of the team agreed that Tran Phu and Hop Dong communes were qualified to meet the model new rural standards; Ngoc Hoa and Thanh Binh communes were qualified to meet the advanced new rural standards.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Chief of Office of the Hanoi City New Rural Development Program Coordination Office Ngo Van Ngon affirmed that the recognition of communes meeting new rural standards does not stop at the title, but rather recognizes the efforts of the Party Committee, government and the participation of all classes of people.
Mr. Ngo Van Ngon suggested that Chuong My district focus on directing departments to coordinate with 4 communes to soon complete the dossier to submit to competent authorities for decision on recognition of advanced new rural standards and model new rural areas. At the same time, continue to pay attention to investment so that localities soon achieve comprehensive model new rural standards in all 8 areas, especially the production area, which is the foundation for improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
