On January 19, a representative of Road Traffic Police Team No. 11 (Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police) said that the unit is coordinating with relevant parties to investigate the cause of the series of accidents between 4 cars on Thang Long Avenue.

Initial information, the accident occurred at around 4am the same day, on Thang Long Avenue (section towards Hanoi city center). Police said, the container truck with license plate 15C-309.XX had an accident and had to stop, the driver had set a remote warning.

Suddenly, a car with license plate 28A-143.XX traveling in the same direction from behind crashed into the container truck. The two drivers did not report the accident to the traffic police but instead handled the situation themselves and called a tow truck with license plate 30Z-76.XX to tow the car away from the scene. While towing the vehicle, a truck with license plate 50H-195.XX crashed into the back of the car, causing 4 cars to be "stacked".

The series of collisions damaged the vehicles, including the front and rear of the car.

Fortunately, no one was injured. The accident caused traffic congestion.

The accident caused traffic problems in the area. A driver said he was stuck for hours on Thang Long Avenue.

Traffic Police Team No. 11 arrived to direct traffic and investigate the cause of the collision.
