Coming early to the 2025 Admissions and Career Counseling Fair, Bui Hoang Long from Tien Lu High School (Hung Yen) came to the counseling booth of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture to find out information about the training majors of the Academy. Long revealed that he really likes biotechnology and high-tech applied research and has applied to the Academy because he believes this is a "hot" major, with a huge demand for high-quality human resources.

After receiving in-depth consultation, candidate Nguyen Huong Lan from Bac Giang plans to apply for admission to the Food Technology major at the Vietnam National University of Agriculture. According to Huong Lan, this is a major with many job opportunities after graduation. Furthermore, during the study process, students get practical experience, participate in scientific research and, above all, have the opportunity to win scholarships, reducing financial pressure on their families.
Previously hesitant, but after being consulted at the Admissions and Career Orientation Day, Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong in Nhan Chinh (Thanh Xuan, Hanoi) understood more about the training majors of Vietnam Agricultural Academy.
“These training days are all related to technology and innovation, so it is not purely hands-on as many people think,” Ms. Lan confided and will encourage her child to apply for admission to the Logistics and Supply Chain Management major.

MSc. Nguyen Trong Tuynh - Deputy Director of the Center for Public Relations and Student Support (Vietnam Academy of Agriculture) - said that the Academy cooperates with more than 200 businesses to arrange jobs for students.
Every year, the Academy organizes a Job Fair with the participation of 60 to 100 businesses, creating jobs for 4,000 to 6,000 students. According to survey results, over 97% of students find jobs after graduation in state agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations, businesses or start their own businesses.
"The Academy spends nearly 30 billion VND/year to provide scholarships to encourage learning for students with good or better academic and training results" - Master Nguyen Trong Tuynh said.
In addition, the Academy cooperates with more than 200 businesses to provide nearly 3 billion VND/year in scholarships to sponsor talented students and students with difficult circumstances to improve their lives.
“In 2025, the Academy will offer nearly 1,800 scholarships to welcome new students of the 70th course with a total value of nearly 30 billion VND, including 3 scholarships to study abroad at the Southwest University of Science and Technology, China,” said Master Nguyen Trong Tuynh.
From 2014 to present, the Academy has organized 10 Agricultural Startup Competitions, attracting more than 1,500 projects from hundreds of universities, colleges, high schools, and localities (of which over 50% of the projects are from Academy students).

MSc. Nguyen Trong Tuynh said that over the past 10 years, the Academy's students have won 5 first prizes in the National Startup Competition and many other awards. Many ideas and projects have developed into businesses that have a position in the youth startup community and have made many contributions to society. In 2023, the Academy was honored by the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) as one of the 3 typical schools building a "Startup Ecosystem".
According to Master Nguyen Trong Tuynh, the Agricultural Academy "attracts" candidates with 4 highlights:
First, over 97% of students find jobs after graduation.

The Admissions and Career Guidance Festival initiated by Tuoi Tre newspaper has entered its 23rd year. This is the 15th consecutive year it has been held in Hanoi in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training and Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
In 2025, Vietnam Academy of Agriculture will apply 4 admission methods:
1. Direct admission & priority: For excellent students, those who have won provincial/national awards, have IELTS certificate ≥ 6.0, SAT ≥ 1200, ACT ≥ 25, or are in priority category.
2️ Admission based on high school exam scores: Total score of 3 subjects according to admission combination (main subject multiplied by coefficient 2), with conversion of English certificate.
3️. High school transcript admission: Average score of 12th grade of 3 admission subjects (main subject multiplied by coefficient 2), from 21 - 24 points.
4️. Combined admission: Academic transcript + English certificate (IELTS ≥ 5.0) or SAT/ACT test scores or Knowledge & Entrepreneurship contest.
