15 years of waiting, Ky Ninh people happily welcome new road

Due to many difficulties, the nearly 400m road from km108+500 to km109+00 of the Ky Ninh commune cross-road project (phase 1), now Hoang Sa road through Tan Thang residential area, could not be constructed, causing many difficulties in the lives of the people. However, with the province's attention in allocating funds and extending the construction package, the road has now been completed. ( Images before and after the completion of Hoang Sa road).

The Ky Ninh commune cross-road project (phase 1) is 9.2 km long and has been implemented since 2010 and has just been completed. The route connects National Highway 1 through Ky Ha and Ky Ninh communes, belonging to Provincial Road 547 (coastal route Xuan Hoi - Thach Khe - Vung Ang), invested by the Ha Tinh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board (now managed by the Ha Tinh Provincial Economic Zone Investment and Construction Project Management Board).

The new, spacious and well-paved roads have changed the appearance of the neighborhood.

Mr. Mai Van Thoan, Tan Thang residential group, Ky Ninh ward shared: “ For nearly 15 years, trading, traveling and the lives of people on both sides of the road have been extremely difficult due to the serious deterioration of the road, muddy in the rain, and dusty in the sun. Now, the completion of the road has created favorable conditions for people's lives, fulfilling the long-standing wishes of our people”.

Immediately after Hoang Sa road was completed and put into use, people along both sides of the road made a plan to plant trees and maintain hygiene to make the road green - clean - beautiful.

With a 10m wide paved section, Hoang Sa Street has become the widest and most beautiful street in Ky Ninh ward up to now.

According to the Management Board of the Investment and Construction Project of the Economic Zone of Ha Tinh province, nearly 400m of Hoang Sa road belonging to the Ky Ninh cross-road project was handed over by Ky Anh town on January 27, 2024. Next, the unit was allocated investment capital by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision 1878/QD-UBND dated August 2, 2024 and on September 16, 2024, the Provincial People's Committee extended the project construction contract.

Since October 2024, the Management Board of the Ha Tinh Economic Zone Construction Investment Project has assigned Bac A Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company to construct the road. Up to now, after many months of implementation efforts, the road has been completed and put into use. Currently, some items such as decoration and sidewalks are being directed by the Management Board to be completed by April 2025, before the upcoming opening of Ky Anh Town beach tourism.
