The fire broke out at around 7:30 p.m. tonight (April 28) at a pallet factory located on Highway 13, through Lai Thieu Ward, Thuan An City, Binh Duong Province.

According to initial information, at that time a fire suddenly broke out inside the factory of Minh Thanh Trung Company Limited. Within minutes, the fire engulfed the entire factory of nearly 400 square meters and spread to the surrounding area.

When discovering the fire, people around the area used water and fire extinguishers to put out the fire but failed.

The Fire Police then mobilized forces and equipment, including fire-fighting robots, to the scene to control the fire. However, because the inside contained many flammable materials such as wood, plastic, and sawdust, the firefighting work was difficult.

Firefighting forces had to divide into many approaches, spray water around to prevent the fire from spreading to surrounding factories, and at the same time approach deep into the factory where the fire occurred.

After about an hour of firefighting, the fire was brought under control. The cause of the fire and the damage are under investigation.
