In particular, the functional forces at the border gates have proactively taken timely measures to ensure that all import-export and immigration activities take place smoothly.

On September 10, providing information on the import and export situation of goods through border gates in Lang Son province, the Management Board of Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone said that the total number of vehicles transporting export and import goods cleared through customs on September 9, 2024 was 1,427 vehicles.

Of which, the number of vehicles carrying export goods: 492 vehicles (including: 359 fruit vehicles, 133 vehicles carrying other goods); the number of imported vehicles: 935 vehicles (including: 828 cargo vehicles, 107 new vehicles). The number of vehicles carrying export goods in stock as of 20:00 on September 9, 2024 is 603 vehicles, including: 444 fruit vehicles, 159 vehicles carrying other goods, a decrease of 02 vehicles compared to September 8, 2024.

Specifically, at Huu Nghi International Border Gate, the total number of vehicles transporting export and import goods through customs is 769, of which: Number of vehicles transporting export goods: 275 vehicles (including: 165 fruit vehicles, 110 vehicles of other goods); number of import vehicles: 494 vehicles (including: 387 cargo vehicles, 107 new vehicles). Number of vehicles turning around (transferring to another border gate): 0 vehicles. Number of vehicles remaining as of 20:00 on September 9, 2024 is: 494 vehicles, including 356 vehicles - fruit, 138 vehicles of other goods.

At the Tan Thanh - Po Chai dedicated freight road (area of ​​landmark 1088/2-1089), the total number of vehicles transporting export and import goods through customs is 391 vehicles, of which: Number of vehicles with export goods: 162 vehicles (including: 150 fruit vehicles, 12 vehicles with other goods); number of vehicles with import goods: 229 vehicles. Number of vehicles turning around (transferring to another border gate): 0 vehicles. The number of vehicles remaining as of 20:00 on September 9, 2024 is 93 vehicles, including 72 fruit vehicles - refrigerated containers, 21 vehicles with other goods.

At Coc Nam - Lung Nghiu Customs Clearance (Area of ​​landmarks 1104-1105), the total number of vehicles transporting export and import goods through customs is 44 vehicles, of which: Number of vehicles with export goods: 44 vehicles; number of vehicles with import goods: 0 vehicles. - Number of vehicles turning around (transferring to another border gate): 0 vehicles. Number of vehicles remaining at 20:00 on September 9, 2024 is: 16 fruit trucks.

At Chi Ma main border gate, the total number of vehicles transporting export and import goods through customs is 223, of which: Number of vehicles with export goods: 11 vehicles; number of vehicles with import goods: 212 vehicles. Number of vehicles turning around (transferring to another border gate): 0 vehicles. Number of vehicles remaining as of 20:00 on September 9, 2024: 0 vehicles.

During the day, Vietnamese and Chinese authorities agreed to extend working hours to 6:00 p.m. Hanoi time to increase customs clearance efficiency and support the release of vehicles waiting for import and export at the Ai Diem border gate, China.

In addition, at Dong Dang International Border Gate, 2 carriages and 3 locomotives were exported; 52 carriages were imported.

According to the Management Board of Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone, the impact of storm Yagi in recent days has caused vehicles transporting export goods to Huu Nghi international border gate to line up on National Highway 1A to wait for gradual regulation into the border gate area.

To minimize the number of vehicles carrying goods through Huu Nghi International Border Gate having to queue on National Highway 1A, from 9:00 a.m. on September 10, 2024, all vehicles carrying goods waiting to be exported through Huu Nghi International Border Gate will be directed to the Duty Free Zone (in Tan My Commune, Van Lang District) to stop and park until further notice. Lang Son will not charge fees for vehicles carrying goods waiting to be exported stopping and parking in this Duty Free Zone.
