Contest "Four good Party cells"
To make the construction of "Four Good Party Cells" not just a slogan mentioned in meetings on improving the quality of building grassroots Party organizations. On August 18, 2024, Dien Phuong Ward Party Committee organized the "Four Good Party Cells" contest.
The competition was attended by 16 grassroots party cells, including 10 block party cells, 6 school, police and military party cells. The teams took turns taking multiple-choice, essay and presentation tests, focusing on building "Four Good Party Cells", "Four Good Grassroots Party Committees", strengthening and building grassroots party organizations and improving the quality of party members in the new period, continuing to implement Directive No. 05 on "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style".
The contest aims to create unity in awareness and action of Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the ward. In particular, to find solutions to ensure the criteria for building "Four-good Party cells" and "Four-good grassroots Party organizations".
That is: successfully completing political tasks, good quality of Party cell activities, good solidarity and discipline, good Party members. At the same time, promoting the will of "self-reliance", "shared responsibility", pushing back the degradation of ideology, morality, lifestyle and social evils, successfully carrying out the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense - security, Party building, building a strong political system from wards to blocks and units.
At the end of the competition, the Party Cell of Pham Phu Thu Primary School won first prize. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thuy - Deputy Secretary of the school's Party Cell said that in order to build a "Four Good Party Cell", in addition to the criteria according to the instructions, more specific solutions are needed.
Including strengthening the role and responsibility of the head of the Party cell, focusing on Party building work, creating sources for developing new Party members, improving methods, forms, and content of periodic Party cell activities...
“The Party Committee has proposed solutions to lead grassroots Party cells to build “Four Good Party Cells”. In particular, it focuses on raising awareness and responsibility of each Party member in performing their duties in residential areas, Party cells completing their tasks well, Party members in the Party cell being united, and the quality of the Party cell being improved. Building “Four Good Party Cells” will lead to success in implementing “Four Good Party Committees” - said Mr. Dang Huu Tu, Secretary of the Dien Phuong Ward Party Committee.
On May 31, 2023, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee issued Instruction No. 14 on building the model of "Four-Good Party Cells" and "Four-Good Grassroots Party Committees". Accordingly, Dien Ban City Party Committee instructed Party cells and Party Committees to develop and conduct assessments according to the four criteria specified in the instruction. The assessment and recognition of "Four-Good Party Cells" and "Four-Good Grassroots Party Committees" are conducted concurrently with the annual review, assessment and classification of Party organizations and Party members at the locality and unit level.
Practical solutions
Dien Hoa Commune Party Committee has 18 Party cells, including 11 village Party cells, 7 Party cells of agencies, schools, and medical stations with 479 Party members. To ensure the improvement of the quality of Party cell activities in building "Four Good Party Cells", Dien Hoa Commune Party Committee organized a discussion with the aim of finding solutions to continue improving the quality of Party cell activities.
Mr. Nguyen Van Dung - Secretary of Ha Dong village Party cell shared that organizing thematic activities in his cell is always associated with carrying out political tasks.
For example, when agreeing on the content of mobilizing people on the Ha Dong - Bich Bac route to donate land to open the road, the Party Cell organized a thematic meeting to find ways to implement it, such as assigning each Party member to be in charge of how many households, mobilizing people to understand the benefits of expanding the road and when they understand, they will voluntarily donate land and hand over the site to the construction unit. That is also a way to innovate thematic meetings towards building a "Four Good Party Cell".
At the seminar, the opinions discussed and shared experiences in building "Four Good Party Cells" such as: preparation work, content, form, implementation process of activities to improve the quality of Party cell activities; solutions to innovate the content of activities to ensure compliance with regulations and instructions from superiors, suitable to the situation and characteristics of the Party cell...
Mr. Tu Tan Minh - Secretary of Ha Tay 2 village Party cell said that the recruitment of new party members every year is always achieved and exceeded because the Party cell always observes, searches and creates sources of people who are members of farmers' association, women's association, and youth union. Because these are the forces that are regularly present in the locality and participate in most activities launched by the village.
Ms. Ngo Thi Le Thuy - Deputy Secretary of the Dien Hoa Commune Party Committee said that at the seminar, grassroots party cells shared lessons learned, good and effective practices, ensuring compliance with the directives of superiors and in accordance with the reality of each type of party cell.
Through the discussion, the Party Committee will have specific and in-depth solutions to build a grassroots Party cell that meets the standards of "Four Good Party Cells" towards building a "Four Good Grassroots Party Committee" in the coming time.
