The Knights of the Great Cross expressed their respect for the contributions and sacrifices of the people of Quang Tri during the resistance wars, especially during the period of fighting against the US to save the country. Quang Tri was an extremely fierce battlefield, but the sons of the homeland fought steadfastly with the people of the whole country, ready to sacrifice to achieve victory in liberating the South and unifying the country.

Visiting the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, the Knight of the Great Cross emphasized the motto of "Connecting love, building national solidarity" of the working delegation to contribute to the Vietnam Fatherland Front in supporting poor and near-poor families to improve their lives. With that sentiment, the working delegation donated 200 million VND to the Fund for the Poor of Quang Tri province.

According to the Knights of the Great Cross, the above activities are part of a series of "remembering the source of water" activities implemented by the working group in several provinces in coordination with Viet Phu An Construction Investment Joint Stock Company and Hanoi Andrology and Infertility Hospital.

On behalf of the leaders of Quang Tri province, comrade Dao Manh Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, thanked and highly appreciated the love and spirit of building the great national unity bloc of the Knight of the Great Cross, John Baptist Le Duc Thinh.

Knights of the Great Cross visit and give gifts to policy families in Dakrong district.

Comrade Dao Manh Hung said that Quang Tri province has 120,000 policy families, including 20,000 martyrs. There are 11,643 poor households and 9,510 near-poor households. Over the years, the Party Committee, government and Fatherland Front have always paid attention to taking care of policy families and the poor, and performed thoughtful acts of kindness to the deceased for defending the Fatherland. The province is continuing to support policy families with housing difficulties; at the same time, striving to complete the construction of 5,600 houses for poor and near-poor households by the end of June 2025.
