At 8:45 a.m., SJC gold prices at businesses such as Saigon Jewelry Company; Doji and Phu Quy were listed at VND106.80-109.80 million/tael, an increase of VND1.8 million/tael.
At the same time, the price of gold rings at Phu Quy Company was announced at 104.50-108.0 million VND/tael, an increase of 1.3 million VND/tael compared to the previous closing price.
In yesterday's session, SJC gold price increased by 500,000 VND per tael and gold ring price also added more than 700,000 VND per tael.
In the world, the price of gold fluctuated around 3,265 USD/ounce, plus about 45 USD compared to the same time last session. This price is equivalent to 102.30 million VND/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank.
This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate on April 16 at 24,899 VND/USD, up 8 VND compared to the previous session. With a margin of +/-5%, Vietinbank traded from 25,640-26,010 VND/USD (buy/sell), up 20 VND compared to the previous session.
However, Vietcombank announced from 25,640-26,000 VND. BIDV Bank bought at 25,640 VND/USD and sold at 26,000 VND/USD, down 45 VND and Agribank traded from 25,650-29,990 VND/USD (buy/sell), down 30 VND./.
