Young Vietnamese Table Tennis Players Participate in Southeast Asian Tournament 2025

Before that, to prepare for this tournament, Coach Nguyen Tien Dung and 16 students, who are young tennis players, actively practiced and perfected their techniques and tactics at the Military Sports Center before leaving.

The list of the Vietnam Youth Table Tennis team includes the following players: Le Gia Han, Nguyen Duc Viet, Nguyen Tat Thanh Dat, Do Le Van Chi, Nguyen Mau Quynh Na, Pham The Anh, Hoang Tra My, Vo Phuc Bao An, Nguyen Van Tuan Anh, Nguyen Hanh Ngan, Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang, Nong Duc Minh, Le Hoang Linh Dan, Nguyen Binh Tru, Tran Dieu Linh and Nguyen Hoang Lam. According to experts, Do Manh Luong and Nguyen Duy Phong are the two young male players with the best potential for development in the future. Both of these players are receiving very good investment from the locality (subjective unit).

The coaching staff and representatives of the Vietnam Table Tennis Federation encouraged the athletes before their departure to participate in the Southeast Asian playground.

The 2025 Southeast Asian Youth Championship will organize competitions in all categories for men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, men's doubles, women's doubles, men's team, and women's team. At the tournament, athletes will compete in two age groups: U15 and U19. Coming to this tournament, the Vietnam Youth Table Tennis team aims to achieve the highest results. In the previous season, the Vietnam Youth Table Tennis team won 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals.

According to the regulations of the organizing committee, in this year's tournament, if the U19 men's or women's team wins the right to enter the final, they will be given special permission to participate in the Asian Youth Championship in Uzbekistan from June 26 to July 2, 2025 and will also be allowed to participate in events in lower age groups.

This year, in addition to Vietnam, the tournament also has the participation of teams from Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia (host).
