The Department's leadership always closely follows the Resolutions of the Government Inspectorate Party Committee and the Decisions of the Government Inspector General in performing its functions and tasks; the leaders and civil servants of Department I always comply with the Working Regulations of the Government Inspectorate and the Working Regulations of the Department; strictly implement the direction and administration of the Government Inspectorate's leadership; closely coordinate with departments, bureaus, and units in the Government Inspectorate and relevant ministries and branches in performing assigned tasks.
The Department's leaders strictly implement the leadership, direction and inspection of the implementation of political tasks; personnel work, building the organizational apparatus, streamlining the payroll, administrative reform; preventing and combating corruption, waste, bureaucracy, manifestations of political, moral and lifestyle degradation, "self-evolution", "self-transformation" and building a clean and strong unit. Thoroughly educate all civil servants to uphold the sense of responsibility and effectively carry out the political tasks of the agency and unit.
During the year, the Department continued to develop and complete the draft Inspection Conclusions from previous years; is deploying the Inspection Team under the direction of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity and is preparing to deploy the Inspection Team according to the 2024 Inspection Plan assigned by the Government Inspector General.

Currently, the Department is deploying a specialized inspection team on the management of exploitation, processing and trading of rare earth, tungsten and bauxite ore under the direction of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Inspector General Le Sy Bay acknowledged and commended the work results of Department I in 2024. The Deputy Inspector General said that despite many difficulties, changes in personnel and reassignment of monitoring areas, Department I has strived to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
In the inspection work, Deputy Inspector General Le Sy Bay requested that the Department needs to speed up the remaining inspections, complete them on schedule, and overcome the slow issuance of inspection conclusions.
