The report at the conference showed that in 2024, Department II will focus on handling inspections from before 2023. The Department has advised and submitted to the Government Inspector General to issue 06 conclusions on 04 inspections at: Military Industry - Telecommunications Group; Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Planning and Investment and People's Committee of Bac Ninh province; State Bank of Vietnam.
In addition, a number of inspections such as: inspection of the management and use of a number of state financial funds outside the state budget, the draft Inspection Conclusion has been sent to request the Prime Minister's direction and sent the draft Inspection Conclusion to request the opinions of agencies and units; the inspection of the implementation of the Ministry of Finance's state management tasks on public assets (houses and land) has reported to the Prime Minister the draft Inspection Conclusion; the inspection of compliance with policies and laws on the issuance of individual corporate bonds..., the Inspection Team has had a Report on the inspection results.
According to the 2024 Inspection Plan, Department II is assigned to conduct 02 inspections on compliance with the law on corporate bond issuance and use of funds from corporate bond issuance; receive 01 inspection of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises (the Committee) and a number of units under the Committee transferred by Department I according to the adjusted Inspection Plan.

In addition to implementing planned inspections, Department II has proactively reviewed, grasped the situation, and proposed an inspection plan for 2025, including proactively and promptly reporting on the implementation of a number of directives of the Prime Minister.
In 2024, Department II received 15 petitions, recommendations, complaints and denunciations (06 petitions, recommendations; 09 denunciations).
The monitoring and research of the Inspection Conclusions of ministries and branches under the management scope sent to Department II is transferred to the Deputy Director in charge and assigned to the civil servant in charge of researching, updating information, proposing measures and management solutions to serve the inspection work.
Reviewing the Inspection Conclusion and the handling of petitions and letters to comment on cadres to serve the requirements of cadre work, emulation and rewards for collectives and individuals of Ministries and branches under the management of the Department when directed by the Government Inspectorate's leaders and requested by the Department of Organization and Personnel: In 2024, Department II coordinated with the Department of Organization and Personnel, the Office of the Party Committee of the Government Inspectorate to advise on more than 38 documents providing opinions on cadre work, 32 documents providing opinions on emulation and rewards.
Implementing Plan No. 1130/KH-TTCP; Plan No. 2100/KH-TTCP of the Government Inspectorate on inspection, review, and urging the settlement of complicated, pending, and long-standing complaints and denunciations, the Department has actively urged the Inspectorates of Ministries and branches under the Department's field to monitor and review long-standing backlogs and petitions according to the above Plans; coordinate well in the work of receiving citizens, resolving complaints and denunciations, and conducting inspections according to plan...
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Inspector General Bui Ngoc Lam acknowledged and highly appreciated the initiative of Department II in implementing the direction of the Government Inspectorate's leaders on the preparation of the summary. The Department has basically assessed the advantages, pointed out the shortcomings and limitations of 2024, and with the comments at the Conference, the Deputy Inspector General requested the leaders of Department II to take note, absorb to synthesize and supplement the report.
Highly appreciating the quality of advice on the implementation of tasks of Department II in the past time, Deputy Inspector General of the Government Bui Ngoc Lam suggested that in the inspection work, Department II should continue to perform well in skills, identify the right subjects and scope, give timely advice on assigned tasks, not wait, not be passive...; promote the spirit of collective work, increase sharing and exchange to improve practical experience; each individual in the department needs to affirm the responsibility of civil servants and members of the Inspection Team when being assigned to join the Team.
Department II needs to promptly overcome the shortcomings that have been pointed out, continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, proactively advise, and effectively organize the implementation of inspection tasks, resolve complaints, and manage the state in assigned fields.
Deputy Inspector General Bui Ngoc Lam requested that Department II focus on implementing the remaining tasks, in which the Ministry of Finance delegation and BIDV delegation speed up the progress of issuing the Inspection Conclusion; the bond delegation promptly drafts the Conclusion. Professional and technical staff need to be dedicated, professional, and devoted to their work. Department leaders and heads of inspection delegations should pay attention to assigning appropriate tasks to each civil servant and each member of the Inspection delegation to successfully complete all political tasks assigned by the Department.
