After a few minutes of opening with a slight increase, the market quickly fluctuated around the reference level due to increased selling pressure. Most industry groups were in the red at the end of the morning session, including the transportation and warehousing industry, which was also affected despite a positive increase at the beginning of the session.

Some codes that put pressure on the index were RCB, MWG, BCM, HPG, FPT, SSI, TPB. Meanwhile, the three codes MSN, VNM, SAB were the main drivers pulling the market points.

At the end of the morning session on June 28, VN-Index decreased by 3.13 points, equivalent to 0.25% to 1,255.96 points. The entire floor had 111 stocks increasing and 288 stocks decreasing.

Entering the afternoon session, investor sentiment became more pessimistic. Low-priced buying pressure and increased selling pressure caused the market to plummet towards the end of the session.

At the end of the trading session on June 28, VN-Index decreased by 13.77 points, equivalent to 1.09% to 1,245.32 points. The entire floor had 79 stocks increasing, 355 stocks decreasing, and 61 stocks remaining unchanged.

HNX-Index decreased 2.48 points to 237.59 points. The entire floor had 53 stocks increasing, 135 stocks decreasing and 52 stocks remaining unchanged. UPCoM-Index decreased 1.41 points to 97.17 points.

After a positive increase, GVR became the culprit when it led the market's decline and took away more than 1.8 points. This code ended the session down 5% to 34,200 VND/share. Negativity also covered the chemical group, for example AAA, DGC, DCM, DPM, DDV, DRI, CSV all ended the session in red.

Similarly, red also dominated the banking group. The worst impacts were BID, VPB, CTG, MBB, which were in the top 10 negatively affecting the market and took away a total of 2.8 points. In addition, the codes TCB, STB, ACB, TPB, LPB, VIB, MSB, BVB, OCB were also under general downward pressure. However, there were still some green colors such as SHB, HDB, EVF, EIB.

Technology stocks did not fare any better, with the giant FPT taking away more than 0.7 points from the general market. At the end of the session, FPT fell 1.73% to VND130,500/share. The codes ELC, CMG, SAM, TTN, ST8, SRA, ITD, MFS, ONE, SGT, and SBD also fell sharply. In particular, ICT and TST hit the floor, down to VND15,550/share and VND5,200/share, respectively.

On the positive side, some codes such as VIC, VNM, POW, MSN, GAS, VHM, although ending the session in green, were not strong enough to pull up the market points.

Liquidity today compared to previous session.

The total order matching value in today's session was VND23,679 billion, up 26% compared to yesterday, of which the order matching value on the HoSE floor reached VND20,857 billion. In the VN30 group, liquidity reached VND8,906 billion.

Foreign investors net sold for the 17th consecutive session with a value of VND 1,168 billion today, of which this group disbursed VND 1,811 billion and sold VND 2,988 billion.

The codes that were sold strongly were FUEVFVND fund 278 billion VND, FPT 255 VND, TCB 179 billion VND, VPB 127 VND, HPG 58 billion VND,... On the contrary, the codes that were mainly bought were DGC 43 billion VND, KDH 39 billion VND, PC1 32 billion VND, POW 28 billion VND, FRT 27 billion VND,... .
