Identifying the construction of a learning society as an important and continuous task, over the years, the Vinh Tu Commune Learning Promotion Association and the staff working on learning promotion at the grassroots level have actively advised the Party Committee and the Vinh Tu Commune government to promptly issue documents as well as organize and launch the implementation of assessment criteria for building learning models to the village branches, clans, and units. In addition, the Commune Learning Promotion Association has also strengthened coordination and integration of propaganda on learning promotion, talent promotion, and the construction of a diverse and effective learning society through festivals, meetings of organizations, villages, and death anniversaries and memorial services of clans...
In 2022, based on the guidance and direction of the higher-level Learning Promotion Association, the Vinh Tu Commune Learning Promotion Association advised the Commune People's Committee to establish a Steering Committee to implement the Program "Promoting lifelong learning movements in families, clans, communities, and units for the period 2021 - 2030" according to Decision 387/QD-TTg and the Program "Building a model of learning citizens for the period 2021 - 2030" according to Decision 677/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister.
The urgent establishment of the Steering Committee for the implementation of Programs 387 and 677 in Vinh Tu commune has continued to develop the emulation movement to encourage learning, encourage talents, and build a learning society more and more deeply and effectively. By the end of 2024, learning models in Vinh Tu commune achieved high results, of which: the "Learning Family" model reached 93.6%; the "Learning Clan" model reached 79.3%; the "Learning Community" model reached 100%; the "Learning Unit" model reached 100%; the whole commune had 2,861 people out of 3,339 people achieving "Learning Citizens", accounting for 85.7%.
The results achieved in building learning models not only promote the socialization of education in Vinh Tu commune but also contribute to improving the quality of cultural villages and cultural families. Therefore, in 2024, the whole commune will have 95% of households achieving cultural families and 6/6 villages achieving cultural villages.
In addition to building learning models, the Vinh Tu Commune Learning Promotion Association also promotes activities to connect resources to build a learning promotion fund, promptly encouraging and motivating teachers, students, and people to excel in teaching and learning. In particular, at the end of 2024, the Commune Learning Promotion Association coordinated with the Fatherland Front, mass organizations, units, schools, and philanthropists to organize the "Spring of Love" Program and the "Connecting Hands of Love" Program to give gifts to students in especially difficult circumstances, sponsoring 13 students with a total amount of more than 85 million VND.
In addition, village education promotion associations and family education promotion boards always actively mobilize philanthropists, children living far from home, people and members to respond to the movement to encourage education and encourage talents at the grassroots level. In 2024, the funds of the associations and education promotion boards in the commune mobilized more than 100 million VND to award and help students, typically: Tran Van and Nguyen Nhuan family education promotion boards, Thuy Tu education promotion association...
Thanks to the good work of encouraging learning, encouraging talents, and building a learning society, the rate of students in Vinh Tu commune passing the entrance exams to universities and colleges is increasing every year; there are no more children dropping out of school; students are very active in studying and practicing; adults are increasingly aware and responsible for self-study to improve their qualifications, apply science and technology to labor and production, contributing to hunger eradication, poverty reduction, and improving the quality of life.
In addition to the achieved results, the work of encouraging learning, encouraging talents, and building a learning society in Vinh Tu commune still faces certain difficulties. To overcome difficulties and continue to effectively promote the work of encouraging learning, encouraging talents, and building a learning society in the coming time, Vinh Tu Commune Learning Promotion Association will strengthen the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the government, the coordination of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, and promote the role of the heads of the Party Committees and the government in implementing the work of encouraging learning, encouraging talents, and building a learning society in the whole commune.
Promote and expand movements and campaigns to mobilize resources and the participation of the people in the work of encouraging learning, encouraging talents, and building a learning society. Continue to promote and innovate propaganda work with many diverse and practical forms so that people are more aware of the necessity of building a learning society.
Promote the development of learning models so that the learning promotion movement becomes the core of the movement to build cultural life in residential areas, build cultural villages, and cultural families. Strengthen the core role of learning promotion associations and community learning centers in the work of promoting learning, talent promotion, and building a learning society.
