Vinh Linh: Body of female student suspected of drowning found in Ben Hai River

Earlier, on the morning of March 23, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department received a report of a suspected drowning at Hien Luong Bridge over Ben Hai River. Immediately afterwards, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Vinh Linh area arrived at the scene, deployed forces and vehicles to carry out search and rescue operations.

With the support of local people and volunteer search teams, the victim's body was found at around 12:45 noon today, March 24.

Initial information shows that the victim is NTV (born in 2013), residing in Ho Xa town, Vinh Linh district. Earlier, in the early morning of March 23, local people discovered a pair of women's sandals and an electric motorbike left on the side of the bridge near Hien Luong bridge, so they reported it to the authorities.

The victim's body has been brought ashore and handed over to his family for funeral arrangements.
