According to the Organizing Committee, Chu Yang Sin National Park is one of the areas with rich biodiversity, but is also facing many threats. However, the Park only has about 100 full-time rangers, while the forest area that needs protection is up to nearly 60,000 hectares. Thus, each ranger must take on the responsibility of protecting nearly 600 hectares of forest.

In addition to difficult living conditions, rangers here also face many dangers from illegal exploitation and hunting. In 2018, a ranger at Chu Yang Sin National Park was injured by a gunshot, and in early 2022, seven rangers nearly lost their lives in an attack.
But with love for the profession and enthusiasm, they still persistently dedicate themselves to protecting and preserving the great forests of Chu Yang Sin.

Mr. Loc Xuan Nghia, Director of Chu Yang Sin National Park , shared: "This award is a recognition from society for the rangers who are silently overcoming all difficulties and dangers to protect the forest. The individuals and groups honored are not only a recognition for the persistent efforts of the forest rangers, but also a source of inspiration to spread the love of nature and awareness of forest protection to the community. We believe that when the silent contributions are heard and appreciated, more people will join hands to contribute to creating a more sustainable future for the ecosystem here."
